Play in a Week!

The first project with Children in Need is due to begin, and we’re very excited to see how it pans out. The group have five days in which to devise, rehearse and present a play – from the set to the sound, the group have to undertake every role in this very hands on approach to collaborative theatre making! For more information check out our Education page.

Laminated Development

Thanks to an award from Arts Council England, Shooting Fish are undergoing a further development of Laminated, Darren Bolton’s play that toured in Winter 2008. The grant is to allow us to work with three different venues, directors and teams of actors to interrogate and challenge the script, ready to tour in 2010.

The first week is taking place at Bradford theatre in the Mill – for more information see our productions page.

An Evening on Pinter for lit.com

As part of the 2009 lit.com festival in North East Lincolnshire, Shooting Fish were commissioned to devise a production on the life and work of the late Harold Pinter. Pulling together three actors for a few weeks of devising and experimentation, the production premiered at lit.com 2009 and was well received by it’s audience. Keep up to date with where it’s going next on our productions page.
